Legal Aid

The Legal program of the BHC provides legal aid to clients that are a party in a case and that are victims of violations of basic human rights. Legal aid may come as legal consultation or as a legal representation before the institutions, including courts. Our lawyers litigate cases before national and supranational institutions like the European Court of Human Rights and the UN treaty bodies. We do not litigate all cases. Cases that we handle need to comply to our terms for the provision of legal aid.
