On 18 April the Varna Regional Military Court ruled on the detention of one of the three policemen detained for the brutal murder of 38-year-old Julian Krastev. The homeless man occupied a tiny closet in an apartment block, where his suspected murderer lived. Julian Krastev's body was found at 6 am on 16 April in a residential area in Varna. He was killed with kicks, which did not leave a single unbroken rib on his body, and fatal blows to the head. The suspected perpetrator of the crime works in the First District Police
Station. In the morning on 16 April the drunk policeman with two of his
colleagues saw the homeless man in front of the building where the policeman
lived. The sergeant beat the man to death, while the other two looked
on. |
