"A draft law for setting up a financial fund for integration of minority children is pending for discussion in parliament", said the deputy minister of education Yulian Nakov at an international conference devoted to elective mother tongue education in Roma language and culture.

According to him, compulsory pre-school training and the Consultative Council on Education of Children and Students from Ethnic Minorities play an important role for the integration of Roma children in the educational system. Education, healthcare, child protection and reduction of unemployment are among the most important measures for integration of the Roma.
