24-year-old Ivan Petrov, one of the two men charged with the murder of the owner of a currency exchange bureau Angel Stefanov, died on December 7 in the Sliven Hospital, where he had been hospitalised for some days. Ivan Petrov was hospitalized on November 27 with diabetes and bronchopneumonia. His lawyers filed a motion for home arrest, after which the court ordered a forensic medical expertise. The experts' conclusion was that the illness had not harmed the internal organs. According to doctors, Petrov who refused any food and medication, could not have been treated at home. Doctors say that he ripped out the tubes with the drugs he was given. The regional prosecutor of Sliven, Keti Bozukova, has ordered a triple medical expertise. |
