No support for disabled children to attend school

The Ministry of Education has turned down the request to take part in the National Plan for Integrated Education of Children with Disabilities in mainstream schools.

The problems of children with special educational needs remain unsolved on account of substantial financial barriers.

Over 20,000 dropped out of school during the last academic year on account of poverty, low grades, absences, illness or emigration.
