  • The name of the new director general of the Bulgarian National Television will be known on 27 February, the Electronic Media Council announced yesterday. The meetings with the candidates will be carried out between 12 and 18 February. The Council also elected the board of the national television - Boyka Buinozova, Nevyana Usheva, Borislav Gerontiev and Prof. Emil Vladkov (Democratsia, Monitor, Trud).

  • The director of the home for children with disabilities in Tarnava, Diliana Tzvetanova, has left her position in the home on mutual agreement and has been offered the position of senior specialist in the Byala Slatina Social Care Department (Monitor).

  • A joint commission of the Ministry of Education, the Holy Synod, the Chief Mufti's Office and the country's religious schools will draft proposals for amendments in the legislation related to religious education (Monitor)
