The BHC annual human rights reports, produced since 1992, cover the general human rights context in Bulgaria during the year. They analyse the human rights developments in the sphere of right to life, torture, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment, excessive use of force by law enforcement officials, independence of the judiciary, fair trial, religious freedom, freedom of expression, conditions in places of detention, protection of minorities, right to asylum, children's rights, women's rights and discrimination against people with disabilities.
